For over 25 years Silver Platter Entrées has been owned and operated by Folker Raynolds, a 1993 graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, New York and his wife Jayne. Folker's passion for cooking started when he was a young boy growing up in Germany with a talented mother and grandmother to guide his cooking skills. He was blessed with being able to attend The Culinary Institute of America so he could hone and expand his culinary passion.
Silver Platter Entrées is a full-service catering company as well as an educator providing cooking classes for adults and children. We also provide holiday/vacation cooking camps for children including (Christmas, Spring Break and Summer), badge programs for all Scouting groups and Birthday Parties for children. Whether you're hosting a gala or you want to learn how to host a dinner party, Silver Platter Entrées is your all-in-one solution.
With our Liquor license we offer full bar services as well.
Our catering service provides you with a culinary academy trained chef to treat you and your guests to a first-class meal, and our classes and camps give you hands-on training from a chef with more than 25 years of experience.

Our History
Established over 25 years ago in Virginia, Silver Platter arose from Folker's workplace. It became necessary to help the CEO and his VP's at their home functions. Working with this group was particularly challenging because of the demand for fresh foods. Over time this became the only way we would prepare food. We do this being true to our philosophy which, over the years, has been to use the freshest food available. If a menu calls for turkey we use only fresh roasted turkey breasts separated from the bone and sliced. The need for original,
high quality, healthy, freshly prepared food will always be in demand. We will continue in that vain. And now we are here
to serve you!
